My work takes place in ceramic mediums, where I often carve notches into the surfaces of my pieces, as seen in "Sunrise Over the Mountains", and drop carefully mixed underglaze to create landscape images. I carve my artwork in a swirling, moving pattern to mimic as closely as I can the liveliness of the world I see around me.
